Back when I operated from a studio space on Market Street in Fremantle Western Australia, Tamsin and Amy were also in the early stages of setting up their own freelance operations. Under the banner of TRAM, the two were looking for an easy-to-update website that allowed visitors to purchase their prints via an online store.
WordPress was just coming into it’s own when it came to building more than just a blog, and we chose JigoShop for the eCommerce shopping cart system as it looked to fit the functionality Amy and Tamsin required.
Under the licensing governing open source projects, JigoShop itself would later be ‘forked’ with many of its features integrated into what is now known as Woocommerce.
